Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Chronicles of Medical and Clinical Case Reports website, including reading articles, creating an account, submitting a manuscript and writing to the editorial office. Using the site means you accept them.
The journal website
The site is provided so that authors can submit clinical reports and readers can find published articles. Published content is offered in good faith, but a case report is not personal medical advice and it is not a promise that a treatment is appropriate for another patient. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician.
Accounts and submissions
- You must give a working email address and keep your sign-in details private.
- Information in a submission must be accurate to the best of the authors' knowledge.
- You must not upload files you have no right to share, or files that contain malware.
- Reviewers and editors must keep unpublished manuscripts confidential.
- The journal may decline, return or remove a submission that breaks these terms or the journal's ethical policies.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to break into the site, overload it, scrape it in a way that disrupts the service, or use another person's account. Automated security checks may be used on public forms. Material that is unlawful, defamatory or that exposes a patient will be removed when the editors become aware of it.
Site content
The journal name, page design and unpublished editorial material belong to the journal or its licensors. Reuse of published articles is governed by the copyright and licensing policy and by the licence on each article. Other policies linked in the footer, including privacy, patient privacy, plagiarism and corrections, form part of these terms.
The journal may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means the new version applies. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
